1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is LYS Enterprise Solutions (LYSES), a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €5,000, 3 rue du Carembault, 59133 Phalempin, France, registered with the Lille Métropole Trade and Companies Register under number 910 296 292, publisher of HostHub (hosthub.agency). 2. What data do we collect?
- Account creation and orders: first and last name, company, postal address, email, phone number, VAT number where applicable, order history, invoices and payments.
- Domain names: the contact details of the registrant and of the administrative, technical and billing contacts required by the registries and by ICANN and AFNIC rules.
- Third-party services (SSL certificates, SiteLock, CodeGuard, SocialBee…): the information needed to activate them, such as the domain name concerned and an email address.
- Support: the content of your messages and requests.
- Security: IP address and client area login logs.
We do not collect any bank card data: payments are processed directly by PayPal.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
- Managing your account, orders, services and renewals: performance of the contract.
- Registering and managing your domain names with the registries: performance of the contract and legal obligations relating to domain names.
- Issuing and keeping invoices: legal obligation.
- Answering your support requests: performance of the contract or legitimate interest.
- Securing the website and preventing fraud: legitimate interest.
- Sending you information about our offers, if you agreed to it: consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your client area or via the link in every email.
4. Who receives your data?
Our team, and our service providers, strictly within the scope of their tasks:
- OVH SAS (Roubaix, France): hosting of the website and data;
- our accredited registrar and the registries of each extension (AFNIC for .fr, EURid for .eu, Verisign for .com and .net…): domain registration and management;
- WHMCS MarketConnect and the publishers of the services you order (DigiCert, SiteLock, CodeGuard, WebPros, SocialBee, Marketgoo, NordVPN, Web.com, Weebly): activation and operation of these services;
- PayPal: payment processing;
- Brevo (France): sending account-related emails;
- Cloudflare: receiving emails sent to our contact address.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Union, in particular in the United States and India. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or its standard contractual clauses.
The registrant's contact details may be published in WHOIS/RDAP directories according to each registry's rules; for individuals, most registries hide them by default. We do not sell your data.
5. How long do we keep it?
- Account and order data: for the duration of our business relationship, then 3 years.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by accounting rules.
- Support requests: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Login logs: 1 year.
6. Cookies
The website uses a technical session cookie, which is essential for the client area and the shopping cart to work; it does not require your consent.
The website also uses third-party services: Google Fonts (fonts), cdn.datatables.net (table display) and PayPal (payments). PayPal may set its own cookies when you view the cart or pay.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to contact@hosthub.agency. We reply within one month.
Some data cannot be erased while it is needed for the service (for example the registrant details of an active domain name) or while the law requires us to keep it (invoices).
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
